I thought I would be super busy, but these past two weeks have been a bit dull. I've got time to kill, so. . .

A day or so ago dangermousie let us know that YA Entertainment has brilliant customer service. They are literally willing to answer anything and they are willing to try and get any drama (if enough fans demand it). So, knowing that they are releasing the first volume of Boys Before Flowers this November, I decided to ask about one of my favorite dramas - Hong Gil Dong. This was my reply:




We decide which dramas to release mainly based on the number of customer requests. Of course there are some titles that the Korean studios "force" us to acquire ("if you want this great title, then you must also buy this other not-as-popular title"). But for the most part we use the total number of customer requests as our main decision factor.

I have wanted to release Hong Gil Dong for a long time. But the Korean production company insists on a very high price. We cannot afford such a high price, so we have had to pass. It's so sad.

Please feel free to send your requests anytime. We record each request, and we reference the total requests all the time.

(We are releasing Boys Over Flowers on Nov 17).

I'm so looking forward to these titles! I'm going to buy Brilliant Heritage and Swallow the Sun. It's a shame about Hong Gil Dong though. :(

I watched episode ten of Jotei and found that I really enjoyed it. It started out as such a guilty pleasure, but by the end I just fell in love with it. Yes, it could be cheesy at times and there was some over acting, but it was a good show. I think the leads really grew over the ten episodes, too.

I'm also playing catch up on my other dramas from this season. I was away for ten days, and apperently during those ten days is when all the sub-groups decided to update. I'm downloading episode eight of First Kiss now, and after that I have to finish with Coffee Prince and catch up with Hana Kimi, Hotaru no Hikari and KO One.

On a side note: I heard Hotaru no Hikari's ending was only so-so and I'm bored with KO One - I'm just watching that show for Jiro Wang and Melody scenes. ('Cause I want them together, even if she is the teacher. Hey - in real life, he's less than two years younger than her. I'm just saying, it could work.)

I also had some time this weekend, so I made vids! I had the episodes on my computer, so I went ahead and made two more THnK videos. I figured that I should make all the videos I had in mind, while I had all the episodes on my hard drive. Which means that these are my last TattaKoi videos for a while.

Vider's Note: I wanted to make this video for a long time. But, when I sat down to make it, I almost shot my computer and than myself. WMM gave me such trouble. At one point, I had to go back and re-edit everything from 1:59-onward. Still, I hope you guys enjoy it.

Vider's Note: By far, this is my best TattaKoi video. Everything just fit together so perfectly. And - Ayase Haruka has got the best shampoo ad hair in this series. Her hair looks amazing in the pool-fall scene and the re-meeting scene with Hiroto. She honestly gives Kame a run for his money in the awesome hair department. And, can I just say that the ferry ride scenes in episode nine still make me sad.

As for my next fanvid, I'm thinking of either another Strawberry on the Shortcake or a Hana Yori Dango vid. For S.O.S. I want to use Strange and Beautiful by Aqualung. And for HYD I'm thinking Solus by James Wendt. I actually have a huge list of fanvids that I want to do with all my dramas and films. Help!
