Kwon Sang-woo booked for a hit and run
Jun. 24th, 2010 02:49 pmI saw this over at dramabeans and had to bring it over. If only because Kwon Sang-woo was/is casted as the male lead for the long awaited Daemul with Ko Hyun Jung.
I'm worried if this booking will push back Daemul or if the drama will be canceled again. It's not schedule to air until October, so there is still a month or two left for them to recast Kwon's role if they have to.
[Side Note and Personal Thought: The thing about Kwon, for me, is that he did great in his younger days; but, for the past few years he's been playing roles clearly meant for men five-ten years younger. That may not seem like a huge deal, but he's thirty-four and is taking roles like the one in Cinderella Man and. . .well, I wish he'd take a grown-up role like the one he was/is meant to have in Daemul.]
I do have to say this: I hope that they just recast if they feel the need to. I don't want this drama casted aside. It's one of the Fall dramas I'm really looking forward to.

I have to agree with her on this one -the way this went down was very funny. It sounds like a scene from a comedy series or a really horrible episode of Cops! I have to say there is no way Kwon wasn't drunk. Because if he was sober. . .he should never be behind the wheels of a car.
I would just really love to know what really happened that night. Apparently he's being really apologetic toward everyone, so at least there is that.
