walkwithheroesI first heard this song when it was used for two different Hana Yori Dango vids on youtube a few months back. Both vids have since been taken down, as all HYD vids get taken down. Anyway, I thought the song matched the series perfectly. Even if the song is about having sex for the first time. Whatever.
After some thinking, I began to think White Houses would also work perfectly with Honey and Clover, as both shows have the same vibe, at least to me. What came about was three days of labor. Somehow, this video seems to focus a lot Ayumi, Mayama, and their love square with Rika and Nomiya. Of course, there is a bit of Takemoto/Hagumi and Hagumi/Morita.
Seriously, this song fit the show really well. I won't be putting it on youtube, though. As H&C vids are getting taken off right now. Its the same reason half my vids still aren't up on my new channel. I really must find a new place to house them.

Side note: The Devil remake seems to have cast its female lead: a 19 year old girl called Kobayashi Ryoko, who seems to have mostly played "child roles" in a handfull of dramas and films. At least, I assume she's the lead, as she's the first female in the cast list. The only other female cast members listed are Kichise Michiko (age 33), Uehara Misa (age 25), and Shinohara Mai (age 24). Somehow I would find it odd to cast a 19 year old to play the child verison of say, a 24 year old. But, that's just me.

The film that was pretty to look at, but without much depth, Koizora is going to be a summer drama! Whose bright idea was that?
It's written by the same woman who wrote Dream Again (started out strong, had too much of a "happily ever after"/doesn't go with the overall message of the series ending), Seito Shokun! (I was way more interested in 3TD than the teacher or the other students. That teacher bugged me.), Taiyo no Uta (I liked the film better. The girl here came off. . . I don't know.), Rondo (which everyone likes, but I've never seen), and Taiyou no Kisetsu (which I actually really liked, despite the fact that they changed it from the novel and I wanted to kill the male lead at least once every episode), among other things. She seems to have started out as more of an action/drama writer. Mm. The writer has had mixed dramas, with a lot of her "older" (2002-2005) stuff doing average/well, but her newer dramas doing average, if not below.
They are casting new actors for the roles, also. Who knows? Maybe with 9-13 episodes (or roughly 7-11 hours), the story will have more depth and I'll actually care for the characters?
