walkwithheroesI've been writing drabbles for Zainichi Hana lately. They're all pre-stories to the actual series, but they're great to flesh out the characters and relationships. I had no idea Seo Akira would be so deep or so well groomed! Or that Eto Hiro would be so damn cool? (Ok, I knew that bit.) At first I was sad that no one was commenting on these stories, but now I don't care. I'm falling in love with these characters and I adore writing them.
My one issue: I've already thought up my next manga/jodrama inspired original series!

It was the first time I witnessed someone fall in love.
I made five videos over the weekend. Why? Because I had nothing to do. There's three Battle Royale, where I focused on the characters and relationships. And, because it's still on my computer, two Boku wa Imouto ni Koi . One focusing on Yori and Iku and the other a Iku character study type thing.
I'd also like to say something: it seems like people are taking vids from youtube and posting them on other (mostly asian) streaming sites. I have no problem with that, but I do have a problem with people claiming them as their own. It seems like that might be happening with my
videos. If anyone sees my videos on streaming sites other than youtube, with people claiming them as their own, please let me know.

Vidder's Note: I had the film on my computer, and this song had some lyrics that just made it seem like people were doing some things they ought not to be doing. Which of course, made me say: "Incest!" in a really funny voice. The thing is, I do like the movie for what is. I just wish it weren't so. . .slow in terms of the actor's speech and movements. It's art-housey. I do think the reason I do like the film (and want subtitles, darn it!) is because of the actors themselves. So, yay to those kids! [Note: I may have used a couple of clips twice: 'cause those darn scenes are sooo damn long.]

I tried to show how Kawada saw the relatiohsip between Shuya and Noriko like the relationship he had with Keiko and Though, I'm not sure how smoothly that came across.

I wasn't planning to do a video with this song for Battle Royale. Truthfully, I knew I wanted to use this song for a vid, but I wasn't sure what series/film I'd use it for. A lot came to mind: Doctor Who, Lost, A Million Stars Falling From the Sky, even (oddly) Orange Days. But, in the end I went with Battle Royale. Somehow, it just fit. Plus, I got to use a lot of character moments and explore the relationships of the kids. I'll admit to focusing more on Shuya, Noriko, and even Kawada, but they do have the most scenes. And, there may be some Shuya/Noriko love, but. . .cute.
