[Fanvid] Strawberry on the Shortcake

I adore Strawberry on the Shortcake and feel that it doesn't get enough love.




Takizawa Hideaki is awesome as early emo/heartbroken Manato. Fukada Kyoko is excellent in her role as Yui. She proves that she can act and not just be the cute girl character. (Why doesn't she do more serious roles?) Kubozuka Yosuke again proves what a great actor he is/was. Plus, I actually liked Uchiyama Rina in this drama, and I don't like her in anything she does.





So, overall it's a great show with an interesting story and characters. The actors are wonderful in their roles and the four main leads have tons of chemistry with one another, making their romances and friendships believable.




I've wanted to do this video for a while. And since I had some time this weekend, I went ahead and did it.

Vidder's Note: If you watch Strawberry on the Shortcake, you watch Manato fall for Yui, and fall apart because he's falling for her. I wanted this video to show that. I also wanted to try and show the way Yui slowly fell for Manato. Maybe she had been in love with him from the start?
