Today, after I had gotten rid of that freaky feeling that came with that dream, I was ready to start the day. My parents bought these two porch swings and I said: "Did you buy those for the front?" And they said: "No, for the back. For the puupies." And I said: "You like them more then me. I'd sit outside if I had a swing in the front." And they said: "Maybe so." I just shrugged and went back to doing whatever it was I was doing.
A few hours later, Melissa (that's my younger sister) came home from work and she said her friend Steph had seen the myserty Englishman my older sister (Alicia) is semi-dating. We were all pissed because she's been knowing him since Nov. and none of us have even seen him!
So, after that I decided it was time to write that English paper that is due tomorrow. 'Cause even though I've known about it for a week I chose six at night to start on it. I was writing the opening paragraph I heard "NICHOLE!" I got a little nervous because my Dad was yelling my name. I thought "Oh crap, what did I do or forget to do?" It turned out they just wanted to know if I wanted to go with Melissa to get a book from the bookstore. Knowing I had the paper, I said yes.
There is something you should know about Melissa, the girl drives like a madperson. She drives 75 mph on the back roads with her music louder then anything. We got to the bookstore and I swear she gave this poor old lady a heart attack. The song lyrics were blaring and she came flying into the parking lot. I said: "Melissa...." but she couldn't hear me. *rollseyes* And she says her music isn't loud.
I looked around the bookstore for a while, going all over and spying on the people. There was this guy in the self-help aisles with three books about being a more productive person. I wanted to tell him he should think about getting a hobby and that the hobby aisle wasn't that far. I didn't though. Instead I went and laughed at the 'historical novels', which all seemed to be 'light romance novels'. Because I really doubt an American-Irish woman was 'captured' by an American-Idian and then "Learned his ways". More like she learned how to play 'find the pole' or something.
We left after a bit and I watched as Melissa flirted with the checkout guy. He wanted her to buy a card and she wasn't haven't it. Sometimes I think she'd make a wonderful 'dirty' cop. She's clean up the streets with her own brand of justice. lol.
I came back, ate, and wrote the crappiest paper ever. Which sucks because I've read the story before, I just can't find the paper I wrote on it.
Now, I'm talking to Todd. It's good, because I love that we talk about nothing and then we fight. I never get mad at him. Sometimes I think he gets super pissed at me, but I never get mad at him.
It's cause I'm mellow.
