Somehow, I thought it'd be. . . better.

You know how you sometimes really wish for something, and than when you get it. . . it kind of sucks? Well, maybe it doesn't suck, but it certainly isn't what you thought it would be. And, you're sort of left with that feeling of disappointment. But, you just don't know how to express it clearly, because you don't want to come off sounding like a jerk. Well, that's me at this moment.




Why?





I just read on nihongofrancais that Kamenashi Kazuya will be in a winter series! That makes me happy, as I've missed the little guy. But, the series makes me less than happy. One Pound Gospel sounds like a bit of crack!drama fun. But, the truth is that I'm getting bored with all these manga!adaptions. Each one just gets more crack-ish in terms of style, writing, and acting. Now, some are awesome, of course. Hana Yori Dango and Nodame Cantabile come to mind.





But, do I really want to watch Kame play a boxer that can't stop eating? And, you just know they'll cast someone like Nagasawa Masami or Toda Erika. While I like those girls, I just don't think I could stand seeing them play a naive, fledgling nun. I think I'd overload on the sweetness and have to turn it off, while muttering evil things to myself.






Another thing that has made me disappointed is this season's Heroes. I watched the first two episodes and than stopped for a bit. G4 showed the four episodes I missed. So, I spent the afternoon zoning out to the show.
