Dream High - First Nine Minutes

I've started the drama, and despite being wary of it (two of the six stars - including the lead female - have never acted), because of all the Idols. But, so far, the acting is not bad. The storyline and characters show a lot of promise. I look forward to watching the rest. I have the first two episodes to watch and then the first episode of My Princess. Should be a good day.

I was surprisingly pleased by Dream High too.

Btw, Secret Garden has 18 of its 20 eps out and it's been very solid throughout, so if you were holding off to make sure it's not derailed - it's not derailed :)

I finished the first episode. (Yes, I ff through some of the dancing and singing) I have to say, it's a good drama. It's not awesome, but I'm pleasantly surprised by it. I like that the characters are all kind of jerky - because, it's believable. They are high schoolers. I think I have an unpopular opinion though: I don't really care for Go Hye Mi.


The thing with Secret Garden is that I want to watch it, but I've been reading so many recaps and pimp post. I feel like I've already watched it. I may have to wait a few months to actually sit down and watch it. The same thing happened with Black and White. BTW: I'm starting Black and White tomorrow.

I think most people don't like Hyemi, if soompi and db are anything to go by. I like her OK though.

I downloaded five episodes for the week, skimmed them, and thought it looked really fun. I'm looking forward to it.



I get the feeling HM is meant to be the lead female. The girl playing her is a singer whose never acted before, and she's doing really well. She has that bitchy high schooler thing down. I think she's had her butt kissed and she's been praised since she was very young. Now, that she's at the bottom - I think it will be very humbling for her. She has potential to be likable. So far, I like the guys and the friend with glasses could go either way for me. The other girl: she's meant to be overweight, but. . the make up job is just blah. (I skimmed episode three)
