First Time for Everything

Summary:An Au story in which Charlie wasn’t on the plane. I’m a huge CC fan, but this is my AU ship.

It started the day he helped her with her suitcase.

He hadn’t done it to be sweet or charming, he’d done it because she was huge and looked helpless. He had a thing for girls like that. She had asked him about the signal and he had lied. He’d lied but there was something about lying to this girl that he didn’t like.

When they brought the suitcase far enough, she had asked him if he’d like to sit with her. It was against his better judgment, but he agreed. They sat together, looking out at the ocean. She had her hands on her huge belly and spoke softly to the baby inside while he sat in silence, just enjoying her company.

And it was on that day, by simply helping a pregnant girl with a suitcase, that Sawyer fell in love.
