"She's like a Leeming"

After much thought I got myself a Facebook. Under Nichole Bellow, of course. I've pretty much found everyone I have ever met. It's slightly creepy, because it's like, now I can find anyone - anywhere. But - I only have nine friends. I'm a bit unsure of the Facebook rules of friending. Do I randomly friend people I went to school with for eight years? The kids I was in AP with for four years? That guy I grew up with? My ex-cousin via marriage? Random people? It just seems a bit odd. The friending people for whatever reason. And, can you deny people you don't feel like friending?
In other news - I have a Biology test on Thursday and than finals next week. After that - I am free until the second to last week of August. Yes! I'm planning a short vay-kay - somewhere. I need a break from everyone and everything here. I just cannot decide on where to go. I want somewhere relatively cheap, but also somewhere I've never been before. Does anyone hae suggestions? Of course, I'm staying in the states. I looked on the travel sites, and it's oddly cheaper to travel to New York than Memphis, where my sister lives. Yes, I could stay in a 3.7 star hotel, a block away from Broadway, plus have round trip air fair for $911.00, but to travel to Memphis and stay at a 3.0 star hotel - it's $1120. Go figure!
My new and oh-so-shiny phone comes in tomorrow night. It's all blue and shiny. And it slides up and to the side. And has music and internet and video. :) It's fun.

Date: 2009-04-29 01:02 pm (UTC)I'm 22 and somehow a girl that I was in 1st grade with (when I was 6!!) found me and friended me. DUDE, how did she even find me? I don't even remember my teachers names back then, let alone some random classmate I never talked to.
Yeah it's a stalkers dream and I do suggest friending only the people whom you want to know everything about your life. Because I can see everything about everyones life on my daily feed and vice versa.
But it can become like addictive crack, especially when you have it on your iphone, like I do.
