Boys Before Flowers Thoughts and Subs

- Subs for episodes one and two are out. That was fast, but they were done by the awesome folks at With S2 (who pretty much do every Korean drama), so they are great.

- Is it just me or does Koo Hye Sun look too old to be in high shool, no matter what they do to her hair and outfits? Don't get me wrong, Hye Sun is very pretty. . . but, she looks more like a woman than a teenage girl.


- Dramawiki has a correlation chart for the show I love those things!

- Is it just me or does Kim Bum look really young next to the other F4 members? He has such a baby face.

- Lee Min Ho has really impressed me as Go Jun Pyo/Domyoji Tsukasa. I think that he is one of the best actors on the show.

I think her D-wiki page makes her look older. I haven't watched the first 2 episodes yet, though.

I've watched the first two episodes, and I stand by her looking a bit older than the F4. I think a lot of it also has to do with the fact that she is clearly trying to look younger in her facie via her expressions. I know I'm complaining, but I do think she should tone it down. She did a bit in episode two and that was much better. But, I still don't buy that she is 15/16, as she looks, to me, to be someone that is 20-24. I am still liking the show, though. I also thought she looked prettier with longer hair, but that is a character thing.

I looked through dangermousie's capspam of K!HYD and in some of the screen caps, she does look to be about 20-24. Mind you, they all look older than they're supposed to be, except for maybe Soujiro? It'd probably be more believable if this was set with them in college or something. :/

I think Soujiro looks like a sixteen/seventeen year old, because he is nineteen. (I think. He's nineteen or twenty, but he has a baby face) He's the youngest of the F4 actors and the second youngest of the main "teenage" cast (Yuuki is the youngest) The rest of the boys of F4 are about 21/22. However, they can pass for teens. As much as I love Koo Hye Sun, so far she strikes me as too mature to be playing a teenager; which is why she sometimes makes the overly cute/silly faces. :/ But, it is early days, so things can get better.
