I totally loved the song "We Are" in the Kurosagi vid as well; it was powerful and melancholy all at once.
That was my thought process on the song, as well. It's so powerful, but also full of sadness. Which makes it the perfect fit for Kurosagi!
Oh, and Nobuta's real name is Kotani Nobuko (using the Japanese system). Therefore, her family name is indeed Kotani. :)
