Kudos to you for making it apparent that while Levi is making fun of all these 'human' ideals, he's somehow, somewhere hoping for them.
In my time of watching DW, I've found that as much as the Doctors whine about love and human ideals, they want them. So, of course that's what Levi wants. He's even a little angry toward Lily for having be able to have the "human" life for a bit. And, he's bitter toward his parents for not letting him be raised "human". I love Levi, he's really complex.
I think it's one of your strongest skills as a writer.

As you know, they are one of my favorites and I love writing them. They are even more fun to write for when they are talking to/thinking about each other.
I'm just afraid something'll happen by the end and they'll be separated for ever, poor dears.
