Interesting how that one line fully defines everything I love about the Doctors (and their children). Kudos to you for making it apparent that while Levi is making fun of all these 'human' ideals, he's somehow, somewhere hoping for them. There's such yearning and such a façade there, it's lovely to see Rose, who's had so much experience with the Doctor, not impressed by it.
Then again, like I've said in the past, you pack a mean characterization. I think it's one of your strongest skills as a writer. And in this, you have a lot of different characters, from a lot of different timelines and shows and they're all IC and they're all working to push along the thread of the story.
And on a more subjective note, I love the Levi/Lily. It's so strange and... pure as a form of affection at the same time... I'm just afraid something'll happen by the end and they'll be separated for ever, poor dears.
