She still dreamed of them, even after years apart. She dreamed of cities, of fires, of sex in pools of Slayer blood. Of course, it had been a Slayer that had driven them apart; a Slayer that had ruined her happy home. Slayers, curses, chips, souls-all ruined it for her.

She was all alone now. Left to wonder and dance without playmates. Grandmother-daughter-was dead and dust. Daddy was the Angel-beast. And Spike, her sweet Spike, had a nasty soul and was fighting for some kind of redemption. Redemption to make a blond Slayer want to love him. Drusilla missed her Spike the most when she was awake; after all he had left her in the worst way, he had left her for a Slayer before he had even gotten a soul. Crazy, obsessed, that’s what he had been for her once-now he was that way for a stupid Slayer that could never love Spike in the way he wanted, in the way he needed.

But, when she slept she dreamed of only Spike. Dreamed she and Spike were together and happy and in love again. Drusilla was only happy in her dreams these days.

Thanks! I've noticed that when Spike falls, he falls hard and fast; he loved Dru after a day and he loved Buffy after one sexy dream (ok, maybe a bit before, but you get what I mean.) So, I wanted to do a little something with that. Just 98 more to go!
