Surely Someday: sneak peeks

It's been a tough last couple of months. My dad has had two major health issues (cancer and heart) and has been in the hospital for two weeks out of the last eight. He's now cancer free and recovering really well from his heart surgery! That's why I've been away a lot. Had to help out around the house, visit my dad, and take care of him. BUT, I haven't forgotten my writing.
In fact I'm half way done with the first set of Surely Someday. If this were a novel, I'd be at the half way mark. I have yet to start story five (though I have written some Wonderlife and Addictions shorts - posts to come), I do have some sneak peeks for my reader(s).
Story Five:
- The flashback is with Charlie, whose (badly) painted the ceiling with stars. Maggie wanted to see outside.
- Simon's big plan was to rent a moving van/lorry and put Maggie in the back.
- Maggie makes Warren swear he won't tell that she spit up blood; he agrees.
- Simon and Warren have a deep discussion: would a shark or bear win in a fight.
- Andrews doesn't go with them to the country house.
Story Six:
- The flashback shows Maggie very ill and not being able to move, as her Keeper hasn't been to see her in a month.
- Henry meets Maggie!
- Simon gets really angry at Andrews bringing Henry around.
- Andrews really blows it with Maggie. He tells her something he shouldn't.
- Quite a bit of Henry/Andrews and Henry interacting with all the house gang.
- Warren gets a phone call: They are coming.
Story Seven:
- The flashback is with Tom. He introduces Maggie to opera. Their romance (Maggie's second) was very intense. Think a more sexual tension filled Beauty and the Beast. He wasn't very kind, but with Maggie - it was different.
- There is a physical fight.
- Since he's immortal, Warren promises Maggie he'll always be with her.
- Lots of Warren and Warren/Maggie in this story.
Story Eight:
- The flashback is an early time in Andrews and Maggie's relationship.
- Maggie and Andrews have a heart to heart. She knows he's regretting his earlier promise to be her Keeper. He was depressed and thought he'd never feel again. Now, he's feeling and he can't. She wants to help him. But, if he's away from her for too long, she'll become ill. (Remember when she coughed up blood? It wasn't just the sedatives. . .)
- Simon thinks that maybe he should leave the house.
- A couple spends the night together (SEX!)
- Warren gets another call: They are here.
- Someone is stabbed.
