I'm Too Cool For a Subject

First: my dad is doing really well. He's getting cabin fever and his pain medication has turned him into a jerk. So. . .walking on eggshells. Beyond happy and grateful that he's doing well, just wish the pain medications weren't changing his personality so much.

Second: Have sent the next part of Surely Someday off to be beta'ed. :) Going to seriously start writing (and reading) this weekend.

Third: I hate when I get ideas for stories/series. I almost wish I could co-write something or give away a few ideas. Maybe I can do the 'adopt a story' at Nano next year.


Fourth: If you are a United States of America citizen and 18 or over - don't forget to vote tomorrow!

Your dad will be off of the meds soon and out and happy. Until then- I suggest doing something monotonous but creative and getting him to watch. That stuff is apparently hypnotic when one's on painmeds.

He was never that happy. Actually, he's a jerk on or off meds. . .yeah. He'd rather watch is cartoons and complain about everyone that isn't a white conservative Catholic/Christian, so I just let him.


Yes, not sure when SS is coming, but it is coming. I've thought of turning SS into a novel when Set 1 is done.

AND, I have a few other ideas and characters that would be amazing as/in a novel. I just couldn't do it right now. I should find a co-author or sell my idea or something,
