Internship - Now Is The Time

Next week I'll be filling out applications for my university internship. My internship begins in September, and it's a bit nerve-wreaking. I pick four places and my adviser puts me in the one she thinks best suits me. My major has internship sites that are all about helping people: nursing homes, dentition centers, a school for the blind, even a children's museum.


This weekend I have to fill out all sorts of forms, so my adviser and I can try and see which age group would work best for me. Looking at everything, I'm starting to wonder if a behind the scenes job is best. I'm starting to wonder if I'll be able to handle angry teenagers - no way or the elderly - maybe. I just know that, while I want to help people, I don't want to change anyone's diaper.
