I have no idea why, maybe because he was more naive and doomed and that appealed to me? OMG, he's the second lead? Yay! It was fighting against *~childhood friends~* so I thought he'd be the endgame match, LOLL.
I'm watching for the characters, not so much the actual plot. Yeah, this. The plot is harmless I guess, but basically they could cut the whole music school thing out and I'd be just as interested to see the characters interact.
