Matsuyama doesn't speak English at all. Maki's English is alright - she has a very tiny voice when she speaks it. The Johnny, whose name I can't remember, is slightly awkward, but he has, like four lines in English.
Matsuyama is pretty much perfect for the role from what I recall. He would play the enigmatic *~tortured soul~* that girls fall for perfectly.
