It's only 29 minutes. Give it a go. I do think that it will have an episode formula: every week the students learn something new. This week was all about things used in restaurants. I can see them doing an episode on things found in stores, offices, homes, etc. Alright, the characters are stereotypes: the anime geek, the girl whose always checking her Japanese directory, the Chinese student whose upset that the Japanese changed the Kanji all around, etc. But, the show isn't too horrible.
I nearly forgot about Gakeppuchi no Eri. It looks like it will be good. I'll have to watch that tomorrow.
