Dengeki Daisy! I love that manga to bits--it's what got me back into shoujo. (I adore Bride of the Water God as well, though last I checked it was beginning to drag a little. But the art is gorgeous.)
I also like Otomen, which is about a guy who has a reputation for being really masculine, but really likes sweets, shoujo manga, baking, sewing and knitting. I think the story is really original, the art is amazing (because the artist can jump from one style to another effortlessly!), and I have just never laughed so hard. There's also a drama, which is even funnier because the writers seem to have taken the jokes and ran for the hills.
If you're into some angst and suspense, I highly, highly recommend Limit--it's like Lord of the Flies, but with girls--basically their bus crashed and they're the only survivors. It's by the same person who wrote LIFE, which is painful to read if only because it's good at hitting home.
Evyione is also one of my faves, because it's period drama--the Little Mermaid with role reversal, with a princess and a merman. Again, gorgeous art, lots of intrigue and suspense.
I've also been reading shounen/seinen--Elemental Gelade/Erementar Gerad is one of my top ten, even if the cast and the plot look very cliche and derived, the artist does a good job fleshing out the universe and the twists to make it original. I think the spinoff "Flag of Blue Sky" is much better if only because the story and cast are more original overall, but I don't think it's been licensed yet. (it's at Manga Fox and Onemanga, though...)
Arata Kangatari is interesting too--it has the whole "modern day guy is yanked into a fantasy world" premise, but there's a twist to it that made me keep reading, and also, I really, really like Yuu Watase as a shonen artist--her art seems more visually appealing!
If you're into manhua, there's Painting Warriors--it takes place in Song Dynasty China with a war with the Westerners over a sacred object. The main character's this boy who's there to paint the war scenes. Great art, great plot, and it has some wuxia elements to it, even though there doesn't really seem to be an wuxia-style plot to begin with.

Hope that helps! Sorry for the infodump.
