Written Preview for CU's 8th episode

After DS collapses, EJ believes it is the fault of she and her mother. EJ decides to make up for all the trouble by helping out even more. She works harder on her yeast experiments, but still fails. :( Meanwhile, HS and KH are able to secure a deal in Japan. HS's love for KH, which started out as a lie, gradually becomes real and deeper. However, she realizes that KH eyes only see EJ. Deciding to give up on KH (still thinking he and HS are dating) EJ tells KH not to hurt HS - or else he'll have to answer to her. JW watches over EJ, whose in so much pain.
I feel badly for EJ, whose going to lose her stepfather and KH within the next two or so episodes. I get the feeling she and JW might leave. Could another time jump be on the way; even just a few weeks?
