[Meme] Upcoming drama season

I saw this on [Bad username or unknown identity:  ]and decided to bring it over. It's really fun, but rather hard.

If you could chose 3 dramas for the next seasons, what would it be?
Answer the following questions:

# Title:  *
# Genre:
# Theme Song: *
# Cast (choose 3-5 actors):
# Plot:

Be nice and make a throughout description of the plot. The more specific you are, the more is there to discuss later on.

Note that this is supposed to be realistic. You are NOT supposed to do an OTP-drama where Akame/-insertyour OTPhere- finally get together. Make it as realistic as possible. Wouldn't it be fun if you manage to get some points right? 8D
Try to stay away from manga/anime/movie adaptions. Originality is your friend!

Title: Life is Wonderful

Genre: Human Drama, Romance

Theme Song: A slowed down version of Life is Wonderful by Jason Mraz. Ending theme can be a Japanese cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Cast: Besides the ones listed below: Maya Miki, Sato Megumi, Yoshitaka Yuriko, Sato Ryuta, among others

Plot:

Yamaguchi Shinji (Narimiya Hiroki) is an unemployed twenty-five year old who spends his days hanging around the sea side house of Bito Eiji (guest star Kodama Kiyoshi), an ex-actor who’s dying of cancer. Also living in the house is Eiji’s adopted granddaughter, Shiina Shiori (Narumi Riko), who at seventeen seems more like a child than a woman. One day, Eiji dies leaving Shinji and Shiori alone. In their shared grief, the two sleep together in Shiori’s tree house. When she awakes the next morning, Shinji is gone.

Shinji returns to Tokyo in order to forget Eiji and Shiori, and finds more problems await him. His Politician father is caught in a scandal, his mother is miserable, and his high school girlfriend is pressing for marriage. Shinji feels himself drowning. Four months later his father’s career is barely hanging on, as is his parents’ marriage. And somehow, Shinji and his girlfriend, Risa, are engaged. Things only get worse when Shiori appears before him – four months pregnant.

I just want to say: the casting for this was really hard, actually. I tend to cast age appropriately, and Narumi Riko is seventeen this year. I feel a bit dirty about it, but I didn't want to cast someone too old, as Shiori has to maintain a child-like appearance and innocence throughout the series, while also growing mature. As for Shinji - I was this close to casting Satoshi Tsumabuki. But. . .I was unsure.

Title: Tengoku

Genre: Human Drama, Romance

Theme Song: The ending song could be by V6. The opening theme would be by Hikaru Utada.

Cast: Mimura, Okada Junichi, Asami Reina, Kaname Jun, Takeda Tetsuya

Plot: Misa is a bright and cheerful twenty-three year old woman - who has tried to kill herself twelve times in the last six years; always on the same days and always in the same ways. After her latest attempt, she is sent to Tengoku, a special home for the unstable. Once there she finds herself surrounded by the oddest people she has ever met, doctors that seem even more insane than their patients, and a quiet janitor with a mysterious past. While unknowing leading a rebellion against the staff, Misa finds herself ready to open up and face her long buried demons.

Title: Addictions

Genre: Human Drama, Romance

Theme Song: Something by Shibasaki Kou

Cast: Kimura Takuya, Shinohara Ryoko, Tamayama Tetsuji, Ohgo Suzuka, Tokito Saburo

Plot: Kenji Sato is a detective who happens to be an alcoholic. Oba “Merry” Hinako is a Hostess addicted to shopping and sex. Nazu Ichiro is a part timer who is a drug addict. Yamamura Sara is a high school student who refuses to eat, have things out of place, or touch other people because she’s scared of getting dirty. Yōko Yuta is a gambling addict, who is also a counselor. Every Sunday afternoon, these five people get together in a “Last Chance” support group. Together they discuss their issues and try to help one another overcome them. All the while asking, “Is it worth it?”

Title: Happiness

Genre: Human Drama (touches of Romance and Comedy)

Theme Song: Let It Be by The Beatles

Cast: Takeuchi Yuko, Fujiki Naohito, Karina, Okada Masaki, Natsumi Elena, among others. I’d love to have a Johnny as the stranger.

Plot: Wuma Island is a tiny place that is home to twenty-four people. The island was once dying, but is now a home to ‘Happiness’, a home for children and young adults that no one else wants. The children of ‘Happiness’ have emotional, physical, and mental issues that have kept them from finding peace. The eight children of ‘Happiness’ range from the ages of three to seventeen and are all trying to find reasons to live. To help them on their journey are the people of Wuma Island: two doctors, three teachers, the owner of ‘Happiness’, a drunken boat captain, an ex-high class prostitute, five elderly people, a hapless mailman, a mayor that seems to always be asleep, and a mysterious stranger.

Title* Nine to Twenty-Four Months

Genre: Human Drama

Theme Song: I Promise You Walls by We Are Pilots

Cast: Nagase Tomoya, Miura Haruma, Sasaki Kuranosuke, Minami, Tanihara Shosuke

Plot: Takagi Hiro (Nagase Tomoya), a twenty-nine year old law student finds out he has a heart tumor and may have no more than three years to live. After a year of treatments that don’t seem to help, Hiro becomes desperate, and journeys to an experimental clinic in Northern Japan. Once there, the depressed young man meets four other cancer patients: Kazama Dan (Sasaki Kuranosuke), Oto Jun (Miura Haruma), Yanagi Hana (Minami), and Uta Yoji (Tanihara Shosuke). The five people, ranging in age from thirty-eight to sixteen, all form a close bond. So, upon hearing that Hana’s treatment isn’t working and that she will have to leave, the group decides to “break out” and help one another fulfill their last wishes.

Maybe. But, I've noticed that Japan is really getting into so-called "unconventional" shows now. I think yours could work really well, actually.
